April Film Friday

May 1, 2015

Yay for Fridays in the spring! (Boo for allergies though - just sayin'.)

Film Fridays is a monthly compilation of photos from other bloggers all over the world and this month's theme was 'Spring.' One thing I love about photography is that everyone has their own style. If everyone's photos looked the exact same, things would get boring pretty fast. Don't you think so?

If you would like to participate in a future Film Friday, just let me know in the comments below or send me an email. You don't have to be a professional or have the fanciest camera (it can be with your iphone), just show us your beautiful work! Since May is a month of many changes with graduations, semesters ending and changes in season, next month's theme will be 'Change.'

Have a great weekend! :)

Film Fridays

April 10, 2015

When I was in college, I didn't subscribe to magazines like Glamour or Lucky and instead went for Time magazine. Nerdiness aside, the reason I choose Time was simply because of the photography. Their photos made me stop what I was doing, take in the photo, feel and imagine what it was like to be there behind the lens.

And so, I wanted to start a series on Fridays featuring photography from around the world (or maybe just the blogging world). The series will start off with a different topic each month. This month's topic is spring. And although the series is titled "Film Fridays," digital photography is most definitely welcome! You don't have to be a professional or have the latest gear, I just want to see your work and your vision :)
